Summer sale at TMC.  Link on homepage at themodelcentre.com

Plus free postage over £100.

They've just added more items, to the 50% off list at least, highlight for me is the EFE Hymek for 80 quid:-

https://www.themodelcentre.com/e84003

Do note that they've now added quite a lot of used items into the mix so read the descriptions carefully.

Gaugemaster have Hornby LNER A1 Doncaster new tooling with die-cast footplate for £180

https://www.gaugemasterretail.com/Hornby-r3990.html

Found it after googling when Kernow posted the same model for £190, they might be better for international orders.

50% Off Two Hornby A1 Locomotives! Doncaster & Knight Of Thistle on Special Offer Whilst Stocks Last!

Must admit I thought these would go rapidly at this price. They still seem to have 195 Doncasters and 361 Knight of the Thistles at the moment!!!

Anyone into narrow gauge railways, the F&WHR shop in Porthmadog are selling ‘Fairlie locomotives of North Wales’ book by David Payling - 326 pages Hardback for £17.95 - was £30. Mail order is an option I believe

It's July, the sun is in they sky and here at home we are sitting back to enjoy Wimbledon and Silverstone but in Germany there's no time for G&Ts, sunstroke or humorous hats as our Teutonic friends are buckling down to roll us out some more O Gauge wagon bargains.

Admittedly, this is not quite the selection a few months ago, but I noticed various livery conflat+ removals container back at 33 Euros and some of the 20 ton breakvans for 39 Euros.

See my post from May 14th about total charges ordering from Modellbahnunion.Conflats.png.a8c9438592909cf1a8b9d8bedc93364e.png

If anyone happens to be in hereford this week the model centre has a large amount of decent 2nd hand stuff in, it’s always good there anyway but today seemed to be particularly impressive

Few stand out items included…

original release Bachmann NRM deltic £185 (not seen one of these for years, go for big money on eBay!)

Ltd Ed hereford model centre 108 blue/grey 108 (heart of wales) £100

Geoffrey Allenson Ltd Ed 37425 £90

Bachmann 37057 ‘Viking’ large loco with sound £120

Heljan kestrel Ltd Ed £120

Dapol western in maroon £85

loads of other older Bachmann 20s and 37 for between £60-90 depending on model, quite a few factory sound locos too for between £100-130 again depending on model, deltics, 37s, 20s etc

I came away with a Hornby 67 in Belmont pullman livery split from a pack for £80 and a loco I’ve been after for ages, 33008 ‘Eastleigh’ for £85, both used but unrun!
