Ben B Posted October 23, 2022 Share Posted October 23, 2022 Something a bit different; I went out to get some pics of the KWVR's new Pacer during the first night of the Beer and Music Festival last week. First stop was a walk into the woods near my house, for a very abstract shot on the banks of the Worth... Then down to Ingrow, which was very quiet indeed. It didn't quite give me what I was after though... ...but did let me do a bit of experimenting. Not helped by the very lightweight tripod I was using, but I'd left my proper tripod over at my parent's place in Wales in the summer. Up to Oakworth, where the duty crossing keeper/station master seemed surprised to have a visitor there at all. Annoyingly the moon, which had been out perfectly, dipped behind a cloud about 5 mins before the unit arrived... My favourite shot of the night, and in fact one of my favourites I've taken on the line!
