It is only 033 and 034 that are able to work with the mk5s, but there was a period during summer when ONLY those two were running trains, and they ran for a couple of months at least on and off. So definitely prototypical if you have a model of 034. I have 034 and then 023 and 032 on pre order, with 2 Mk5 sets coming too and I plan on interchanging 034 with one of the TPE ones on a fairly regular basis. Graham108
I've got 034 on its way from Rails as a Xmas present to myself - very fortunate! Must think about the MK5's sometime in the NY. Edited December 7, 2020 by bartram108 typo 1

TomScrut
Do we know the set numbers of the AS rakes yet? We are talking about prototypical locos but bear in mind TP02, 03 and 05 (as far as I am aware) have not been introduced to passenger traffic yet. All TPE locos, and the two backups have been used on passenger services I think (but don't quote me on it), 29 I think was the last one to be put on. Yes, just sets TP02, 03 and 05 to work in passenger service, plus the spare DT 12814. 68029 was the last of the TPE class 68s to work on passenger service, its first use being on 1st October 2020.

That's what I said (other than giving the date)! But thanks for clarifying, I recall the spotters getting excited on Facebook because it meant they could all be ticked off. RMweb Gold Popular Post Accurascale Fran Posted January 19, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted January 19, 2021 Sweet Dreams Are Made Of These; Caledonian Sleeper Mark 5 Coaches! After a lot of blood, sweat, tears and sleepless nights, we have crafted a most excellent sleeper coach. Here are the first tooling samples of our Caledonian Sleeper Mark 5 sets. As you can see, the detail is up to our usual high standards, with a wealth of parts as well as our new close coupling system featuring magnetic Dellner couplings (under test at the moment, but hopefully they prove reliable!) interior lighting and of course all coach types are available. We will bring you an update on the TPE Mark 5 stock later this week. In the meantime you can see more photos and the full story here: https://accurascale.co.uk/blogs/news/caledonian-sleeper-mark-5-wake-up-to-something-beautiful Cheers, Fran 18 2 5 3
