Baggies1961
Thanks for that. So Im wondering How can they be adjusted, Antics fitted sound for me when I bought it.
Andrew P
I've not noticed it on any other 60's so it may well be the weird way Heljan have the wiring inside Julian.
Andrew P
Is it an ESU or a Zimo Sound file?
Baggies1961
Hi Andy, Good question as I said Antics fitted it so I will see the instructions they provided when they fitted it a couple of years ago I think.

Baggies1961
Some replacement sections of track were installed last night, the cross over section to the left of the 60, the siding opposite the platform and a small section on the run round loop. The siding was relaid as two pieces replacing the single piece of track. I could not close up the gap by the point so replaced it. At last Im nearer track fixing. Then as Im going to have dowels with wire to change the points and then ballast the track. All hopefully during this period of working from home and self isolation.

Baggies1961
All electrics were great until I renewed some track and tacked all track down all locos seem to stall and cut out in same place. That would suggest to me that the feed wasn't getting through...frustrating to say the least. on a lighter note the 31 is off to a new home. Just the 45 & 37 both sound to find new homes for.
Baggies1961
Further to my frustrating electrical issue Uncle Bob bucks the trend and does not cut out (so far, touch wood) on the troublesome 2 points.

Baggies1961
Ordered a long 10mm wood bit so I can insert the dowels and attach to the points. Perhaps with hindsight snatched by the ‘locusts’ in tescos I should not have fixed the track down just yet. A method I have kindly adopted from Chris Nevard.

RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted April 2, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 2, 2020 Sounds like a poor electrical connection somewhere. You will have to investigate. Cheers, Ade.
Baggies1961
Thanks Ade, yes as it was ok prior to replacing a couple of short sections and pinning track down I may have to take track up again, frustrating but as you said got to find the problem. Strange as one loco is fine but not the others.
Baggies1961
Constructing my first wagon kit. A few mistakes as per but hopefully I will learn. Its the PD Grampus. Quite enjoyed it to be honest. Painting never done either.
Baggies1961
On the subject of the Grampus, can anyone help me in telling me where exactly the baskets fit on the underside of the wagon? Think the instructions could have a diagram showing where exactly. Thanks in advance.
