Baggies1961
Iv attached some ply one side of the traverser but run out of small screws for the other side so a trip to Wilcos in the morning will rectify that. Theres a gap in the middle to allow access to the bus bar underneath.

Baggies1961
Other side has ply attached now. Now thinking I need some ply at the back, doubling as a back scene. Andy P’s thread about Neptune has got me thinking of ballasting the traverser.

brossard
Good buy Julian. I make a point of fitting Slater's lamp brackets to my stock. They can actually hold a lamp. I have some ModelU lamps on order. I want to see what they are about. John Edited September 7, 2020 by brossard

Baggies1961
Sat in a meeting bored so a little poser. Which famous bridge is this? There are two towers with a 4,626 feet span that cross a busy shipping route. It was opened on the 24 June 1981 and was at one time the longest single span suspension bridge in the world. We have a circular board room table with a hole in the middle that is about eight feet across. The outer diameter of the table must be about 12 feet. I have often thought you could make a good layout on that!
Baggies1961
It is a huge meeting room. It would house a huge layout with full glazing on two sides.
Baggies1961
Full house tonight as I need to take the traverser off to add the ply backing. So all engines moved into the station area.
