RMweb Gold Popular Post PhilH Posted November 9, 2022 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted November 9, 2022 (edited) Last one I promise...after being spruced up for a couple of railtours 30310 has been shunted to the back road of Bishops Stoke shed and placed in store. To add insult to injury a great way round not to be moved board has been put on it. k Edited November 9, 2022 by PhilH 21

Popular Post Ben B
Having featured the 'new' R&H yellow shunter last week, the Autumnal foray to Spon Lane tonight sees the last generation of steam used at the works, with the hired-in Peckett bought to the line for 1984. The usual evening turn to 'A' shop sees the loco simmering gently whilst inside the works, the van is loaded with the machine parts produced through the day. [At the same time as the Grant Rail R&H was acquired, I also treated myself to one of the Hornby Peckett tanks, and wanted to see how it looked in the scene before deciding if I would sell it on, or carry out some modifications to the livery] 32 3

jcredfer
The treatment of the steel sides of the bridge is just brilliant. Would it be correct to assume that the Speed Limit applies to the more distant line?

Yes, that's the through running line from the yard back up to the 'main' line. Think the relationship of Marsh Sidings at Parkend to the main Severn & Wye line through the Forest of Dean. 1 1
