I found a few photos in my dads attic earlier from when he went spotting at Westbury. He used black and white film up until the 90s

 

D7017 in it's last few weeks..

 

Eastern region interloper 37029

 

 

One from the early 90s, a newish 60029 just before the depot closed with an unidentified class 56 in the back ground

 

 

I managed to use some photo software to convert a couple of them to colour as well

I had a communication wondering what technique I use on locos this size (009), so I've put a brief description up in the weathering section if it's of any interest

A three fifty shares space with Sulzer Type two's at High Peak Junction.

 

 

Of course its my 'take' on HPJ, a late 70's what if. The 08 has only just been completed and is a new addition to the layout. It is only one of 20 produced as a cottage industry collaboration between Oak Tree Engineering (chassis) and Lincoln Locos (3d print body). Livery painting, decals, weathering, handrails and glazing was by me.

Another from a photo session yesterday afternoon outside when the sky turned nicely dramatic. 

 

BR Standard 2 No. 78054 waits to leave Loch Dochard, the fireman must've gone for the lamp as they're nowhere to be seen!

I have to say, I don't like this sort of thing. It is not kind or helpful or useful.

 

Looking at Dicky L 's contributions to this thread, it is clear to me at least that there is a lot of great modelling content going on. And consistently realistic looking scenes. A lot of stuff that I aspire to but find it very challenging to achieve myself, thus I have respect for folk who are posting great stuff.

 

I enjoy this thread, for lovely scenes from a whole variety of contributors. Personally I have been very much enjoying Dicky L ' s contributions and I very much hope he is not put off by continued nit picking over an issue that he has already acknowledged as something to deal with.

 

The first post quoted above, fair enough, constructive criticism. The third post quoted above, no need for that tone.

I don't have an issue with the comments positive or negative. Plenty more photos to come.
