David Wright has  added a further model at the Stafford Exhibition in September

Like most I was saddened and devastated to see the total destruction of such a unique Public House. Being a keen model maker and lover of our heritage buildings especially pubs! I thought I must try and recreate this well known landmark. If the pub never rises again ' like a phoenix from the ashes' for real. At least I can make 'The Crooked House' rise again in miniature at the Stafford Model Railway Exhibition.

Sorry to pull this thread off-topic, but advertised in the latest copy of 'Private Eye' is a pod-cast that will cover old buildings combusting unexpectedly:

Not heard it myself yet, but hope of interest.

Looking forward to exhibiting at Stafford again for the fourth time I think with different layouts each time. Anyway which other RMweb members are exhibiting?

I'll be there with my kits again, but this time, and for the first time anywhere, I'll also have a table demonstrating building & painting them too!

Bleat Wharf is currently in the garage having been extracted from the Room of Doom. An intense hoovering session yesterday saw the removal of the cat fur following the last inspection conducted by the Works Forecat.

I shall be flying the flag for non-UK layouts with Alonzo Mill, the current Continental Modeller ROTM. I shall be ably assisted by @doctor quinn, who is yet to tell me that he will be bringing a green class 47 for the inevitable photo opportunity ....

Top stuff. You'd never think that was Lego.

Good effort.
