on the subject of 37/4’s… all 31 have been made rtr, some like 37401 been done 6+ times !!!

37401 in RFD, EWS and Mainline by Lima

37401 in L/l and Royal Scotsman by viTrains

37401 has been done 7 times now. Kernow Model Rail Centre commissioned a limited edition of it in Royal Scotsman maroon, using the new class 37.

I wonder how many 00 gauge models have been made in total…

probably enough to cover the country.

Given that large parts of the country are essentially uninhabited and there would be no models there, that would require models to be stacked several layers high in the inhabited parts.

Every time I complain that the uk is turning into one giant city, a friend points out only something like 3%* is actually built on.

*I haven't actually checked his stat - could be a vic reeves one.

A colleague of mine has all the Class 50s plus some duplicate numbers in different liveries. I'm sure he said he had almost 70 in total. That's in OO, he also has a few in O.

Someone my Dad knows has about 70 odd 50’s I remember having a chat with him over the phone about and Dad said ‘how do you some it up in one word Matt?’ ‘Dedication’ was my reply 😜😀

300,000 of them from a quick google - it's easier to model the entire 10,000 strong HAA (and variations) fleet!

That means I've only got 299,960 to go.

Are we including all the livery variations (apart from rust) as well?
