D9JEF
Hi Ian, Layout is looking really good! I particularly like the shots in the station. Cracking work on weathering 47 706 and 50 019. Am I correct in assuming they are done without the use of an airbrush... Keep the pics coming. Jeff Ps. Dogfish needs a touch of weathering... Did you go to Warley this year? RMweb Premium Temeraire Posted November 29, 2013 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 29, 2013 Hi Jeff Thanks for your kind words and you're correct no airbrushes were harmed in the weathering of any locos, its all done with brushes, cotton buds and kitchen towels! PCM has already pointed out the dogfish are ex-works, I'll get there one day with the stock, and as for Warley, no I've never been.

Beresford Junction
And here are the moving pictures of yesterday (excluding my unplanned trip into the depot with the coal train). Thanks again Ian for a great day. Phil
pitbull1845
Afternoon, Firstly thanks to Ian for his hospitality yesterday, Bacon Baps up to the usual standard. Thanks also to Kevin and Phil for their company yesterday, it was a pleasant few hours. An added thanks to Kevin for weathering two of my locos.. The normal operator errors happened at the start but it wasn't long before we got into it. Here's one from the blooper cut. Phil thought he was delivering coal to the steam depot! And here are a few general shots of the depot and one of Seagull creeping through the station. Hope to meet up again soon.. Cheers

I really miss lack of social aspect with this hobby Rob You re welcome to pop round here any time and have a laugh at the glacial rate of progress on my embryonic North Devon layout. Satan's Goldfish
'Temeraire' was kind enough to let me through the magic door to see Exford Park last night (i'm sure some court cases have started like that), while i was down by the tracks i got a couple of photo's and some videos. Video's aren't uploaded yet but they're definately better than the pictures, but here's a couple of teasers of some unexpected sights passing through Exford Park: Dutch 37 moving a mid refurb cartic 4 set. Another service a little later with another cartic, steel carriers, and a VGA on it's way to Riverside. A bit slow with the camera, i just caught the end of a rather unusual rail tour passing the depot and yet more freight on it's way to Riverside yard, i did catch it on video though.......... A big thanks again to Ian, videos to follow at some point.
Satan's Goldfish
Videos from yesterday! Some visiting specials including an AC electric well out of territory and a test run of a work in progress cartic 4 set: And the spotters-eye-view from the end of Exford Park station platform:
Beresford Junction
Looking good - I've never seen those services running through Exford Park before. Phil

RMweb Premium Temeraire Posted December 22, 2013 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted December 22, 2013 Evening all Just a "me too look what I've got" post I'm afraid! 47187 takes the Down with 6V92 TTHO Mossend - St Blazey china clay empties at Exford Park (last Thursday obviously ) with a couple of the new weathered Bachmann Polybulks in the consist. Closer view of these superb wagons as they pass the camera. I have another couple of the TSL version on their way from Merseyside too so expect another pic as soon as they land. I think these wagons are great and well worth the wait, once I have all four in house I will add a touch of my own weathering. Just in case they don't arrive before Wednesday can I take this opportunity to wish all members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
