Il Grifone
He's got some red Novo track as well, if anyone's interested. No straights though. As least his prices are fairly reasonable, unlike some others, who have made frequent appearances here.
Removed a/c
He does provide a valid reason for his emphasis on the fact its actually curved. But why does the description say 'one piece', when the photo shows 6 pieces? He has more than 10 for sale and has sold 4, each piece is for 99p. As Timpo is 1:32 I would doubt these are O gauge. The Timpo trains are 0 gauge. The actual scale is dubious*, though the figures that came with it are definitely 1:32. They appear too large compared with the train however. The track connects perfectly with Tri-ang Big-Big track, but is black rather that red (Whatever possessed them to make the track this colour - a cheap lot of plastic?). I still have to compare mine with a drawing of her prototype (a Baldwin 4-4-0 of the mid 19th century I believe), but I will endeavour to do so

RMweb Gold 57xx Posted October 7, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) Griff Private owner on fleas bay for £16.99 http://www.ebay.co.u...=item19d56857d1 Or from the Midland railway Society for £11-00 (under 'sales') http://midlandrailwaysociety.org.uk/ - and the profit goes towards running a great sociely. Which would you pick? Tony I stumbled across the same seller when looking for the Midland Railway Centre's "Raven Collieries" wagon. £15.99+£2.95 P&P from the Earl, or still available for ~£12.50 inc P&P from the MRC... He seems to have a mini-industry in buying up "rare" stock and selling at inflated prices. This one is so very rare, he had 6 available. Il Grifone
Probably she's worth restoring, but getting the dent out of the boiler could be a problem. Getting her steam tight to run (and not explode) would be a job for the experts (which excludes me unfortunately).
