Some people do, I believe...

To have built, past tense, a model railway presupposes that one has finished building because the thing is complete, so, no, nobody has ever built a model railway, ever, and nobody ever will…

The question should be 'Has anyone ever actually built a model railway?' Then thought better of finished it!

Does Gostude not take returns? Can you not refund it before it’s been dispatched?

I've bought stuff off gostude and its been fine, as described and quick delivery.

Naturally, I've not bought the finely chiselled stuff he sometimes offers...

The Gos is not consistently a mendacious chiseller, he sometimes offers good stuff at fair prices.  In fact AFAICS all his stuff is of reasonable quality, it’s just the hardsell and pricing that are off!

His listing are flooding my searches at the moment with the sheer number of massively overpriced LNER items. I need to put a price limit on my search I think.

I haven’t yet, I’ve been eying up a motorised K’master/Airfix Prairie though, about forty quid, been sitting on ‘tude’s shop for a while…

I thought he'd 'given it up for Lent'!? Relying on M&S and Waitrose Food Halls?

I was always told - Never a borrower or a Lenter be...

Its always posh nosh up there in Banjo Country?

You can keep your posh nosh, it don't agree with me,

It's Friday night, I'm within my rights

I want a chippy tea!

That is posh nosh to us, we actually had fish and chips for two tonight, only a tiny handful of change from £20!

But being health conscious, Miss Riding Hood gave most of her chips to my mate's dog...
