How do we know you don't know?

Mike.

You don't know that I don't know, but I know that I don't know.

So I know something that you don't know.  Is that what they mean by "knowledge is power" ?

I don't know ;)

In the light of yesterday's announcement by Hornby of a much anticipated re-run of the Intercity liveried DVT, hopefully with a less vomit-coloured beige paint, I can't help thinking this is heroic pricing, especially as it keeps being relisted at the same price and has been for several months.  Get the message chap, it's over-priced.

A rather optimistic seller one has to think. Why bid for this at this price? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193282140063?ul_noapp=true

An early style kit compared to one of these excellent 'modern' Judith Edge kits: http://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/judithedge/kit/375 IIRC both saddle tank lengths are available.

Another seller using some sort of high definition x-ray device

to photograph an item which according to the description

has never been out of the box.

If you look at the auction, it's the model kits he is referring to as unopened.

Presumably the “MIB” in the title is “Mint in Box”’ which is stretching things a bit given the ham-fisted, sorry professional, heavy weathering.   Then again it is Gostude so it is surprising that the words “kit-built” didn’t make it into the title.

Cheers

Interesting concept but I fear they may have got the engineering a tad awry with this one...

But in the spirit of the TV series "Mythbusters" ; would it work?
