Arnington
Hi Arnie, I was only saying to Ian yesterday that I fancy a West Coast 33 for my layout. Both WC locos look good in the shed. Hope to bump into you at Eastleigh at some point.. Might go Tuesday.... Cheers Scott Hi Scott, Thanks, yeah after seeing a few photos lately of 33029 in action recently around it's old stomping grounds i couldnt resist I have a DCR 56 arriving this week hopefully too! The last few times i have been to Eastleigh Tuesday definately seemed to be the busier day, unfortunatley i'm back on shift from tomorrow otherwise i would have been down there. I'm off shift next Tuesday though so will probably be making a visit then. Cheers Arnie
Arnington
That's it, like this pair from Dec 2006. 73206 Easleigh 06 12 06 ap.JPG And 66 from Aug 2005 66704 66714 eastleigh.JPG And Maritime Aug 2005. 66538 maratime.JPG I modeled my Virtual Quarry on my Kingsmill Layout (see below) on that at Eastleigh, they had just started using it before I left the area. Andy. Hi Andy, Some nice pics there What i like about Eastleigh as Scott said is there is always something going on and there is a bit more variety than other locations i have been to, you are not always going to see endless sheds Here's a few vids i took, Cheers Arnie
pitbull1845
You seem to be having the same idea as me when it comes to the fleet, I've got a little project on the go and both those locos are on my list.. Plus a DCR 31 etc..... I'm off next Tuesday but will have the latest addition to the Pitbull family with me so not sure how long he would tolerate the trains! I may see you there for a brief period. Look forward to seeing the 56 on shed. Cheers

Such a shame as the old departmental and Engineers stuff looked really good. Its good to see some action there, I have quite a few more pics from Eastleigh and Maritime if you want me to post any on here for reference. I know a lot of people like to have a go at the current scene , but there is still some great stuff out there , as you are demonstrating !! Cheers. Marcus Hi Marus, Thanks, yeah i'm enjoying mixing things up lately with some current scene locos and stock. I think there is still quite a bit of variety out there, I'm going to be bringing things right up to date soon as i'm going to be receiving a Colas Class 70! Arnington
Afternoon, Had a little arrival yesterday in the form of Hornby's Sentinel shunter. I've just chipped it up, which was a little bit more tricky than i imagined and then gave it a little run on the layout. I'm going to be removing the branding on the side and changing it to something a bit more appropriate soon or i was thinking of naming it... maybe after the wife Here's a pic.
