Nice work !

Can I ask how the faded pink HEA was done or have you already described it - looks spot on.

Thanks Rob,

I weathered the HEA using Tamiya Acrylic's and Railmatch dark rust. I mixed up the Tamiya acrylics, flat white, pink and thinner into a wash and applied to the wagon by brush until i built it up enough to the desired pinkness. I then finished of by dry brushing the rust effects on.

Cheers

Afternoon,

While waiting for some bit's to arrive so i can continue with the station area, i took Arnash lane back in time for some 80's inspired pic's featuring some light engine movements and freight workings this afternoon.

Cheers

Evening,

I've been busy this afternoon battering up the Ford Escort and placing it on bricks so i can place it outside the new flats. Still a few bit's i want to touch up but here's some pic's.

Cheers

Never a fan of any vehicles on layouts -  prefer to just concentrate on traction - but sits well -  see you have been in the housing market on eBay - look good.

 Thanks Ian,

Yeah 046 is a fav of mine but i imagine once Bachmann get round to finally producing a peak with the sealed beams then i imagine her value will drop considerably!

The Escort is the first time i've had ago at weathering(or destroying) a vehicle before i normally stick to loco's but thought it would look in theme with the new housing venture :)

Morning,

Well it's been a while since i posted anything, i've been distracted with other things the past few months and never seemed to have any time for modelling:(

I'm slowly getting back into it though and recently bought a dutch 37 body from Ebay which was sold as spares or repairs and was in a bit of a state with muck sprayed all over it and the glazing all clouded up.

I cleaned it up and had ago at transforming it into 37087 circa 95 when the loco's body work was a bit patched up. It's nearly finished now i'm just replacing the glazing and touching up a few bits of weathering, here's a pic.

Cheers

Morning,

Here's a few of pics of the layout that i took recently. I haven't been in there for a while, going to have ago at cracking on with the flyover that i started a while back and fit the rest of the safety rails to the side of it. I may repaint it also as i'm not too happy with the colour of the Railmatch concrete paint i used!

Cheers

Thanks for all the kind comments guy's. I've progressed a litlle further with the flyover i've been slowly building and have finished adding the guard rails to one side. I will post a few pics up later.
