georgeT
Finally got around to finishing the 40t ballast wagon but having a fight with the bogies as they are white metal and far too flimsy and ruined one so l have ordered another set of side frames but this time they will have a brass back ground to solder onto

georgeT
Started another project today and that is a southern type utility van made from parts of kits l have had for a while in the scrap box and l thought it was a good idea to use them up, the chassis will be made of brass to give some strenght it not based on any one but a mixture of them all...probably be a tool van on my engineers train l am thinking of doing... the van needs more sanding on the windows yet and the roof need fitting, not 100% accurate but it looks the part ?...

bobster
There used to be a nice one at the S&T Dept at Horsham Yard, it was in Engineers Green Livery with White lettering, I used to get permission to walk around there and photograph the stock, they had some Interesting wagons at Horsham in the 70s and 80s - I had some nice pics, but for some reason I sold all my slides many years ago Cheers, Bob. Andrew P
Selling the photos isn't as bad as selling all the Locos we've had in the past, just DON'T try and work out how much you've spent over the years mate.
