I don't find the scene particularly attractive but it's convincing. The viewpoint is just right for the forced perspective of the terraced houses. But what a pity the photographer caught the top of the backscene (top right hand corner of the photo). Destroys the illusion completely. Well that really is very good, completely fooled me for a moment there, especially the forced perspective half-relief buildings between the station and the backscene.
