blueeighties
Morning Dave, sorry. I really shouldn't post some of the Scottish 0 gauge stuff I have coming up then....
blueeighties
Sorry Dave...... Freezing cold outside, so what better way to spend the day than working on some Scottish locos? This is 47643, in 7mm scale. Amongst other things, today she has had the initial basic stage of weathering applied. 002 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 004 by rothburyuk, on Flickr Still with 7mm, the Heljan 26. All of the filed in cab sides have been painted blue, the match is not absolutely 100% to the Heljan finish, but it's pretty close. Weathering and varnish will blend everything in nicely. 006 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 008 by rothburyuk, on Flickr And last but not least, back to 4mm, and a rather tasty 37012. Weathering just applied. 010 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 013 by rothburyuk, on Flickr

RBE
Love the 7mm 47 Lee, it'd be nice with some fly's on the front! I'm somewhat of a duff fan. I really must get an intercity one done for Millers Dale me thinks.
Grimleygrid
I agree with Cav, that 47 is the business! Lovely job, thought you might like this, taken in the late 80s at Carstairs: Just noticed it has a plough missing!

blueeighties
Know exactly what you mean matey, you know I'm a BR blue/large logo man, but the more I do of these Colas jobbies the more it appeals. One of the better recent liveries I think.
