JeffP
Where were the sheds at Grimsby? By the time I was spotting there was a stabling point and turntable at Cleethorpes, and a large shed, an absolute swine to bunk*, at Immingham. * It was in the middle of dockland, so you had to contend with Railway police, Docks police, and both dock and railway workers. Back in 1962 I did a tour of all the sheds in South Wales but not Bassaleg. As I was staying with a work colleague of my fathers in Bassaleg as a base for day trips, that was a bit strange. Anything reasonably close I did on my bike, the friend drove me round the others in an old VW campervan.

Fredart
Possibly Abereeg shed.? I believe Bassaleg closed in the 1920’s before 4652 entered service. The pannier was shedded at Abereeg in 1960 and Tondu in 1961 having spent time in Cardiff and Newport e

steve fay
The little show case build back on the bench today, I’ve reduced the height and beefed up the top timber so I can add a 3’ LED strip light behind. Intentio low relief north light shed sides ordered for along the rear.
