CME and Bottlewasher
Newton Abbot's 9717 meets John Luscombe's Fowler traction engine in the Teign Valley in 1947: 9717 ps.jpg If it was a 14xx that could well be a scene from the Titfield Thunderbolt! Very nice. Is that Sid James on the steam roller? Yar yar yar yar - cor-blimey <lifts flat cap and scratches head> etc. My thoughts exactly! Had my therapeutic fix of the Titfield Thunderbolt this year, its like soothing warm mulled wine, soothing, relaxing and comforting, all better times past. Happy Christmas and a happy New Year to one an all! CME
