A Nod To Brent - a friendly thread, filled with frivolity, cream teas and pasties. Longing for the happy days in the South Hams 1947.

Perhaps we're playing a game of 'Where's CK'?

We need to play the game of finding our resident pi**taker Chris and any ideas when he can come round to play trains. ;)

The backscene is looking spot on to me and compliments the scene beautifully.

A possible prototype for your beach hut from Broadsands ?

I wonder if you need triple padlocking or a beach hut number - perhaps not in 1947.

P.s - Is the hut yellow or orange - or am I going colour blind?

Spent my birthday money on another hard-to-find Baccy 2-6-2T 45xx GWR #5513, making three 45xx's now ( so far).

Have also enquired about new number plates too.

The backscene does look really good.

Can you raise the hut on some timbers, to keep the botton edges out of any sea water puddles the winter/ summer storms may create ?

By the way Stu - 4569 already has etched plates.

Rob - Stu and I will be standing on no-man's land at Barnstubbble in a few weeks time and will be doing a prisoner exchange. T9 for a 45xx.

I hope the Germans have got an armed guard on their hotel

They should be okay. I mean, so many emigrated in 1945.....allegedly of course....
