Miss Prism
The weird thing about 3335 is that it seems to have changed frames, bogie, and rods at some stage.
Clearwater
1 hour ago, The Fatadder said: Yes, It was produced by a chap on the GWR Modelers Facebook group (I think he is the same person who is selling damaged seconds on ebay). He has done straight and curved Bulldogs, Birds and is now working on an Aberdare. The body / bogie are printed and are a straight fit on a Bachmann Earl chassis There's some good modelling on that group. 4

Popular Post Bulwell Hall
This is my version of 3335. The reason I have done her in wartime black is that the RCTS in Locomotives of the GWR state that latterly the remaining Bulldogs were in black. The photos that I have seen are by no means clear on this and I'm sure that when looking at black and white photos of grubby engines you can see what you want to see. Certainly at least one of the Birds was painted green with GWR lettering on the tender as there's an official photo of her. So who knows? My inclination was that during WW2 she was an old engine and not likely to last for much longer so would have been painted black as was Swindon practice at the time. Not much help I'm afraid. 22

Hoping someone on here may have a copy and be able to have a quick look to see if they think it is painted in green or black before I get the paints out on this Do you think that there's enough space between the frames to fit an EM gauge chassis? 1

I can take some photos once the paint has dried I’ve sprayed it green for now, but may yet change my mind and respray it black when I sort out the tender. For the moment it will be running with the green tender that came with the dukedog that provided the chassis until I source a Dean 3000gl. Now debating buying another to use the spare tender….. 3 1

I was going to make another. It was quite a job altering the K's. I could better use the time on another project if there is a 3D output available. Mine is also 3335 based on a Henry Casserley image taken at Westbury in 1935 Mike Wiltshire 22

I have double checked, Bachmann Earl is 23mm between the insides of the splashers, I dont recall there being a need to remove material in Gibson's guide for an EM gauge conversion on this 2

I see they've done them in the short-lived 1930 livery with double lining, as Hornby first did with their bow-enders. Just a couple of points: 1) Shouldn't the bolections be the same colour as the droplights? 2) Did the GWR really outshop coaches with the door hinges in unpainted brass?
