Currently can of work on the layout (heat undoubtedly in south of France… :heat: ), but a new purchase, after the class 9F Hornby Franco Crosti, a new engine class 08489 from Hornby with, as for the preceding one, a expertly weathering by TMC. :   Before some pictures taken in situation on the layout, here the first two photographs right exit of the box:

Here some pictures of shunter locomotive class 08489 on the layout. It is equipped with a Hornby DCC decoder. Its operation is higher than the Bachmann model, its engraving seems finer. With the weathered from TMC, it is really a beautiful model.

Must admit, personally I'm not the greatest fan of steam but I do like a 9F. Seriously impressive locomotive. A great shame they've been banned from the mainline network due to their flangeless Middle driving wheel. Remember going and seeing Evening Star doing rail tours quite a few times when I was a kid.

Hello with all, the driving park counts an additional shunter locomotive the class 08417 in yellow livery from Hornby.

I do not know has exactly at what a period corresponds this kind of livery, but considering I go until 1994, I think of being inside, if it is after it is not too serious, it will run nevertheless !

The model is equipped with a decoder gaugemaster (undoubtedly sub-contracted with another DCC society), The weathering work by TMC.

I think that is a current Class 08 used by Network Rail.  It is very nice though.  I think forum member Big Jim drives the real thing. He even had a model figure of himself to put inside it :)

There are some days I received 40 97407 class "AUREOL" from Bachmann. Again, this company had the excellent idea to release a particular model, as was the case with the class and the class 25043 20141. Equipped with ESU LokPilot decoder, pending Loksound ESU programmed Legomanbiffo the locomotive made its first steps on the layout. Here are some photos :

Really love the look of the 08.  Has to be my favorite version, BR Blue, wasp stripes with yellow buffer beam.  So in-vocative of the era, especially on your shunting duties.  The speedlink/railfreight train is great.

I especially like your angle of view with the photos, nice a low at ground level looking past bits of scenery, very nice and much more realistic.

Olivia's Trains are a very good shop from near me . I only live a few mile from them and it took them a week to get my loco to me where as other well known shop can do it over 2 days so hang on in there :sungum:
