RMweb Premium Temeraire Posted October 31, 2022 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) Morning all Bit late but thank you to the Newbury club for their hospitality on Saturday and the opportunity to play trains again. Also, thanks to the 'team' Rhys, Paul, Chris and Mike the teaboy for their help and company for the day. Tidworth is all packed away in the garage again and not due out until February for the Tonbridge show. Edited October 31, 2022 by Temeraire
RMweb Gold Popular Post PaulRhB Posted October 31, 2022 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted October 31, 2022 Yes thanks to Ian for letting us play and the team for breakfast baps, lemon drizzle cake and tea! Checking the teas on offer . . . Has anyone seen the lemon drizzle cake? puzzled by the colour of a tree? looking professional. 24

RMweb Premium Popular Post Temeraire Posted December 3, 2022 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted December 3, 2022 (edited) Hi all Just sitting waiting for kick-off and was looking at the pics that Chris Nevard took of Tidworth for the magazine article and the ones that weren't used and thought I d post some here for the record.😉 The only pic of a Class 50 he took and it didn't make the cut! 🙄 50046 Ajax in charge of the 4TC arrives as 37068 Grainflow eases an MoD service out of the sidings. RMweb Premium Popular Post Temeraire Posted December 3, 2022 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted December 3, 2022 Having run round in the station and drawing forward 'Burma Star' prepares to set this week's fertilser delivery back into the siding for unloading, while behind the MoD shunter arranges wagons in the exchange sidings. 33
RMweb Premium Popular Post Temeraire Posted December 4, 2022 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) Evening all Here's another one of the unused batch. P.C.M
The layout is looking great Ian. Mr Navard can take a decent pic too. Cheers Peter.
RMweb Premium Popular Post Temeraire Posted December 11, 2022 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted December 11, 2022 Hello all Had the laptop on again this afternoon so thought I'd add another of the Nevard masterpieces. Eastleigh raises the noise level to draw forward and position the second tank of its train under the loader overseen by 'Clive the clayman' on the gantry. 26
RMweb Premium Popular Post Temeraire Posted December 11, 2022 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted December 11, 2022 When Mr Nevard sent the edited pictures used for the article and those that weren't, he also included Black & White versions of many of them. At the time that the layout is set most pics in the magazines were in B&W so in some ways I prefer them and what I remember. B&W version of the thumper picture posted previously but the detail just seems to 'pop' more without the colour, especially the brambles on the embankment I think. 25 2

That gives the brambles a bit of a 'frosty' effect, which is rather appropriate this week! 1
RMweb Premium Popular Post Temeraire Posted December 12, 2022 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted December 12, 2022 Evening all Back on the laptop tonight and as the pics seem to be gaining lots of 'likes' I thought I'd post another one! 😉 A general overview of the original layout where the roadbridge was the scenic break. After the arrival of the London train 47187 starts its MoD train that has run-round and now heads to the vehicle depot at Ludgershall. (In my world the sidings at Ludgershall can only be accessed from this direction.😉)
RMweb Premium Popular Post Temeraire Posted December 15, 2022 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted December 15, 2022 (edited) Evening all Here's another, let me know when you're bored/had enough! 😉 A splash of colour on the clays, 33035 positions the first wagon in the washing shed with blue cloud filled sky above. Tempfix Rich Papper Posted December 15, 2022 Tempfix Share Posted December 15, 2022 Hi Ian. I promise none of us are going to get bored! It's looking great. And there might be an element of editing trickery for the sky, but it looked great beforehand. Rich 3
Grampus
Quote, 'Here's another, let me know when you're bored/had enough!' Ian, absolutely no danger of that! Please do keep them coming! These days I'm a long way from my spotting days in that area and really appreciate the trip down memory lane, seeing trains as I remember them. 😃 Cheers, Paul 2

Rich Thanks Rich the sky is definitely added otherwise it would be the mess in my garage behind!🤣 Forgot to add it’s all Mr Nevard’s work, I wouldn’t have a clue how to do it. I'm posting pics that were used in the magazine now but I guess not everyone has bought/seen the article.
