RMweb Gold PjKing1 Posted May 26, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 26, 2016 Painful Superb work Paul, sorry haven't been in lately and I've missed some cracking workmanship. It's very painful Andy and no worries I've got loads of threads to catch up on, just about getting modelling time. Thanks again for the kind words Andy Cheers
RMweb Gold PjKing1 Posted May 27, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 27, 2016 A couple more stools added last night but nothing worthy of a photo, I did however take a pic as best I could to try and replicate the view seen here in Edgehillsignalmans shot https://flic.kr/p/baKpva Not quite the same but after seeing this photo over two years ago it's nice to see my inspiration coming to life. RMweb Gold PjKing1 Posted June 2, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 2, 2016 No modelling for nearly a week now but I've been hard at work decorating, finished the back room on Tuesday so yesterday was spent emptying my modelling room to turn it into the nursery. It's a bit strange not having my own modelling room but I'm sure I'll cope working in the kitchen or something. What's left of ELJ's room. ELJ's new home, it's pretty easy to get down to be honest. And it makes for some realistic low angle shots!! Once I've finished the decorating hopefully some more modelling can be done. Cheers
RMweb Gold PjKing1 Posted June 6, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 6, 2016 Well the modelling room has gone, to be replaced by pink walls I blame Beeching for this to But after what seems like weeks I've final had an hours modelling and the point rodding heading towards bootle junction us finished, well apart from weathering etc, quite pleased this is done though. RMweb Gold PjKing1 Posted June 7, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 7, 2016 Well after 6 months I thought I'd best get down to weathering SLW D5000 pretty terrifying! I've started with the buffers and buffer beam as I didn't have much time tonight. I've also experimented a new technique on the tanks but I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if it's worked. It 'was' a lovely model. The buffers an buffer beam. An the tanks. I'll do a a how to on each step on my Dirty Diesels thread as I've not posted on there in ages, I'll try and get the started tomorrow. Jintyman
A nice start on the class 24 Paul. It is a bit frightening to get cracking with some high value models isn't it? But I'm certain you'll do it justice Jinty

RMweb Gold Enterprisingwestern Posted June 10, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 10, 2016 As you've lost the modelling room and as ELJ has gone into hibernation, Wibdenshaw could do with a double junction . Nudge nudge wink wink, if you know what I mean. Mike.
