We have booked next years show for Saturday 25th July 2015 at the same venue, but will be enlarged with an additional room. This will give us space for 3 or 4 more layouts and hopefully 1 or 2 traders.

More details to follow when the first few layout bookings have been confirmed.

Watch this space....

Shaping up nicely Richard, will be good to see Oakley Green, I am amazed by your progress so far

Thanks Rob,

Still a few more bits and pieces to put together. I'll be putting the plans together for the three halls sometime next week. I'm sure that there will be a few gaps to be filled and will be looking at these over the coming weeks.

I had a long chat with my friend for who I am building the layout and he will be bringing a few new locos, all fitted with sound !

That looks to be a fantastic lineup for a relatively 'small' show - hope you don't mind me saying that, but it had a very friendly and unhurried feel last year. Definitely worth a trip back this year, reserved 'my' day on the calendar ;)

Oh and the sun did come out last year too...!

Looking good again, nice show last year and I'm agreeing with Ramblin Rich's comments, put in my diary as soon as you posted it here.

1/ Can you possibly have a word with FGW to extend their current offer on their rail fares along the Tarka Line, it's only costing me £2.65 for a return if I leave before midday !

2/ And will there be any black pudding I'm gettin fed up with all this sausage talk ?

LOL

Looking forward to coming again :)

Grahame

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated!

We have strived to create an enjoyable and friendly show. Yes, may be relatively small show, but this does not mean that the quality cannot be good.

It's great that visitors want to come back, which is also good and that our visiting exhibitors want to come back as well!

A small update.

Unfortunately Stubby47 won't be able to bring his layout as planned, but will now be bringing a small 7mm narrow gauge layout instead, so will be adding another N gauge layout as will have a bit more space! Details to follow. Also will be bringing a second club layout, again details to follow!

StubbyJnr will be attending and is available for hire as a relief operator...

Debating whether to have breakfast in the Imperial in Exeter or in the Watergate in Barny if we catch an earlier train.

Will be our first visit to Barnstaple  for a couple of years.

Tough decisions Ian! Why not both or bacon sarnies at the show!

Will be good to see you !

Three breakfasts!! I need to leave room for beer later. Quite a few old favourite pubs to visit in Barnstaple then head to Topsham in the evening.

See you there.

Ian
