As I looked at the picture, for some unknown reason...
....... that old song 'Wild West Show' crossed my brow and I heard the words
"Where the feck 'r wee"..
This lockdown is playing havoc with my uhmnnn, forgotten now.

"Never mind the weather, as long as we're [not] together, we're off to see the Wild West Show [when it eventually reopens].

That reminds me of Spike Milligan discovering the long lost Elarwi tribe who had never invented maps. They wandered around saying "We're the Elarwi, we're the Elarwi......"

That was the BBC-approved version...

As I recall, the lost tribe(s) were vertically challenged, and where jumping up to see over the long grasses etc.,
and shouting out those immortal words, the reply from Dr. Livingstone, I believe is not recorded. :jester:

I think the J15 is one of  Hornby's finest

Naughty! Naughty! NAUGHTY!

I can't find my resolve. Where did I put it. I think it's slipped away somewhere, probably gone off for a herbal tea or something.

I am thinking about weighing up being minded to consider the possibility of grudgingly conceding that those locomotives from the west of the North Sea might have some very slight allure, especially when compared to a cold cup of some kind of watery ginger-flavoured tea.

As has been stated elsewhere, locomotives from the LNER and it's constituent companies are officially banned from all lines operated by the Kernow Railway Authorities.

However, as with all Rules and Regulations, exceptions, derogations and occasional permutations are sometimes applied for and even more occasionally, granted with the necessary dose of Grudging Condescension.

As such, previous instances of grovelling to the Kernow Railway Authorities has resulted in the procurement of two sold-out-of-service ex-LNER J72 locomotives. An ex-LNER J70 tram engine has also been obtained but is currently stopped on shed, due to objections from the Kernow Permanent Way Superintendant.

There are rumours of a Y8 0-4-0T having been delivered to the Vale of Radnor Light Railway some time in the past. It was never assembled and the parts are believed to have been stored in an overgrown shed somewhere, deep in the Welsh hills.

And now we speak of J15s. Do the Light Railways not have enough motive power? Where will this speculation end? Shall we have a cup of herbal tea now?

I'm sure the Vale of Radnor Light Railway acquired one previously supplied to the R.O.D during the Great War.........

Pray where is that location Mein Hauptmann?

The Bagnall is standing on the private siding leading from the works of Taffson Evans Engineering to Cuthbertson's Chocolate factory.

'Lord Salisbury' is on the coal siding.
