We were there again this summer and some 28 years after your photos above, the class 1044's (now class 1144 after rebuilding for push-pull operation) are still working services out of Salzburg. We travelled out and back Zell am See to Salzurg on a push-pull service behind these locos. With the relatively short rakes and a driving trailer at one end, I couldn't help but think about the Glasgow-Edinburgh push-pull services. Hope you don't mind me posting these, but here is 1144 223 (presumably formerly 1044 223) at Salzburg... And the driving trailer... I couldn't help but be impressed by the Railjet push-pull stock either, especially with their smart livery. Anyway, apologies for the diversion away from your pics. Please keep them coming! RMweb Gold DaveF Posted September 15, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted September 15, 2017 There's no station named Trim, the RhB does have one named Trin (2-legs, not 3 ) It's located in the Vörderrheinslucht between Reichenau-Tamins and Ilanz. FYI: Bemo does the RhB stuff in H0m (and latterly also a bit in 0m) while Roco offers the 1144, the accompanying Pendelzug as well as the RailJet in H0. None are 'cheap' The RailJet sets are also available from Jägerndorfer and Piko, the latter is 1:100 while the others are proper 1:87. On quality, Roco wins hands-down, but as said, at a price!
