  1. hallo, according to the Dapol Website 3rd Quarter 2015. Delivery of models from Farish and Dapol always seem to get pushed out so a case of "don't hold your breath"? es grüßt pc
  2. Hallo Ben, Not only the CJM affect but also the fact that an existing model from Rapido was tested and from the models used to test in comparison it was only Kato which surpassed it. The proof of the pudding effect.... es grüßt pc
  3. Hi, I would say Hattons behaved in this case in an exemplary manner. They pre-sold for the given price and held to their side of the contract. I expect most of you will have seen how they have priced some new developments - for example on the MK2Fs "RRP withdrawn by Bachmann so price estimated - we will notify you if price rises & offer option to cancel" I also regard that as fully professional and applaud them es grüßt pc
  4. Hi, I would like to get the I-N-G-A.net involved (via N-Club International which is local to me), by requesting that they promote the project at least in the N-Club International page. I do not want to jump the gun in case Ben or Mike were already going to do that (or already have done it) and ask for your approval. Thanks es grüßt PC
  5. Hi, Just made my pledge. I did not realise until I launched the pledge site that a pledge can be made for just GBP2 in return for a digital photo. This did not come across in RMWeb, maybe it does in the marketing flyers - and maybe it was known at Warley Can I suggest that those with connections to modeling press (Jan 2015 edition), websites, groups clubs etc that they make an appeal to modellers in all scales and gauges, so that for the good of the hobby, should buy a photo? With just shy of GBP155,000 to go it must be possible. that's my "mustard" added - as we say in Germany es grüßt PC
  6. Hi, I could have sworn that I had registered for the newsletter but obviously I did not..... If I register today would I still have a newsletter sent to me? I have no idea how to navigate through a Kickstarter Appeal, and I just want to make sure that I pledge enough for an 11 coach set.... Thanks in advance es grüßt PC
  7. Hi, Looking forward to this getting underway. My pledge will be for enough to make an 11car set (no DCC no sound) and maybe just maybe the move to Rapido will bring more pledges. They have a track record ('scuse the pun........). And as a personal choice regarding names I'd love the possiblity of a " City of ********** " version It has to be successful.............. es grüßt PC
  8. Mr D, I've praised you before, I'll praise you again, this layout really is an Inspiration. Great work es grüßt PC
  9. 37s, Duchesses, A2s, CCTs, Polybulks et al now "officially" within the next 60days Time to write that Christmas list es grüßt pc

  11. And a huge compliment from me as well. Your work is truly inspiring....... es grüßt pc
  12. A bit too modern for me, but the Class156 is one of the better models, so probably I will find a loophole in the security sofware of my common sense and peng! One will wind ist way to Herrenberg es grüßt pc
  13. Hi, just spent some time in YT looking at InterCity liveried MK3 Catering cars........... Hope this provides more help for those wishing to model prototype formations, although for those in the know, this info may be "snow from yesterday" (as we say here in BRD): The loco-hauled RFM seems to be uniform with a yellow stripe above the seating bay, and with no stripe (red or yellow) above the catering section. But check out the HST at 14m40s in the clip below. The catering car has no stripe along the whole coach side and the window pattern seems the same as the Dapol Version. Contrasts with the HST (at Tiverton Parkway) at 1m14s in post 321 above, which also appears to have the window pattern on the Dapol coach Narri Narro & es grüßt PC
  14. Hi, The photo is on this page http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/429-scottish-region-photos-1980s/page-16 My eyes are not good enough to see what the logo says, looks like Scotail? es grüßt PC
  15. Definitive answer is a good one, :-) On the Dapol website, under Launches\Product Development\NGauge\MK3 Coaches the item number is listed as "Expected Feb2014" so at least the intention is there. Joel sometimes replies to questions on the Dapol F***b**k page, maybe if you post a question there you may strike lucky, es grüßt PC
  16. Hi, The version of the HST I wish to run (see an earlier post from me with a link to the photo of the example) has 2x four windowed catering cars. I will be able to live with incorrect non-seating bay windows. My question was only referring to the livery variation, There have not been any photos anywhere that I have been able to find. The intention of my post was not to re-open the discussion about whether Dapol had made the "correct" decision - please note inverted commas surrounding the word correct. Dapol were always going to be under fire no matter which version they decided on. Looking "outside the box" and reading comments from other threads as to what is modelling or not, I expect the dedicated modeller could, if required, probably use the Measurement Train etchings from PHD Designs on a FO or SO and model all types of catering vehicles (s)he wishes to. I was thinking of that type of project for my blue/grey WCML loco hauled version. Just need to track down decent photos es grüßt PC
  17. Hi, Does anyone know already if the 2P-005-010 MK3 Buffet E40352 HST has been produced as "Unclassified" - ie no !st class markings? Thanks es grüßt PC
  18. Regarding TGS here a Facebook post (within quotation marks) from whoever is repsonsible for the content "we are conscious of the importance of the TGS for the completion of the train and will be working on these in the coming months with an aim to get them out in 2014." I'm sure there will be large sighs of relief. I will believe it when they're on stock at the retailers es grüßt PC
  19. Hallo, If all goes well I will finally be able to build my 1st generation ECML HST in 2014 - must say I am looking forward to that. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/429-scottish-region-photos-1980s/page-14 post 349 uppermost photo Post 29 of this thread quoted the above from Mr D Jones. To any current Dapol employee with the correct level of authority and who reads this thread: Feb 2013 is behind us. Will the TGS surface 2014 (truth please!)? If not in which year? Thank you Frohe Weihnachten es gruesst PC
  20. Hallo, Still think MK2B/Cs in N are long overdue - there are the locos to pull them available - 4 Body shells and 8 innards needed, maybe someone could state how many roofs and underframes required? Please with a close coupling mechanism as stable as the Farish version not as sloppy as the Dapol version. es grüßt PC
