  6. Afraid I haven't visited here for some time. I wonder if I may re-visit the discussion in April about the half-building. The general consensus seemed to be to leave alone so with some trepidation I'm going to make a suggestion. This may not be what was really there but on my own layout which is late 50's-ish I did resort to still-existing WW2 bomb blast damage to solve a problem in one area. What if you treat the missing half of the building as having been bombed, with a couple of large wooden buttresses holding up the remaining wall? There would be no need to worry about the track as that's now been lifted and the ground would just be rough. Hopefully this would fill some of the gap when viewed from either direction and not be too much modelling (though doing things well always takes longer......)
