  1. What about a 7mm scale Class 66? Surely an iconic locomotive which saved railfreight in the U.K. ? Numbering over 400 locos, not to mention the European based ones.
  2. So due this my late expression I might as well pay pay the full balance straight away, as production seems quite close. Regards
  3. I'd really like to order x4 of the Tripple packs, i assume the disposit is taken now with the balance on delivery ? What is the latest cut off for orders please. Regards
  4. Understood cheers gents, nicely spread out then plenty of time to budget
  5. I'd like to order a later batch Pannier model, do I need to do this prior to the March 17 cut off for the bargain price? Also is there a planned delivery date for the later batches ? Cheers
  6. I personally think a cooperative scheme for a OO 92 with yourselves and Repido would be excellent, I would happily commit to a crowd funded scheme as you as the principle point of contact. Great Western
  7. Is there any chance of a OO scale loco? I would love to order with you, as I feel you guys have acted and continue to act in a most professional and dignified way. Great Western
  8. I've bitten the bullet and placed an order via email. Can't wait, and I've made a little future product suggestion
  9. I've spent the last few hours reading throw the various threads and to say I'm confused is an understatement. As I I understand it there are no (maybe) two N scale Class 92 models ? I can't really see an issue with that as long as there isn't duplication on schemes and numbers, there are plenty of difference options to fill both teams return profiles. However, I'm not really impressed that a private email from one party or another has been made worldwide public, if the other party wanted the public to know their plans then they would have aired them, it's really not the place for another party to disclose private plans. It has me wondering if I was to email persons involved would my private messages be aired online to ? Over sensitive yes, but it does rises questions I feel. The OO 92 from DJM was really at the top of my list of new toys in fact I was about to order one before all this kicked up. I can fully understand the huge risk Dave has taken to start up DJM and he should be given massive respect for that. But, there is a back log of future releases in all three scales that may well never see the light of day. A large list of products for retailers like Hattons and Kernow is this taking attention away from the core in house products? Obviously the commissions pay for the in house products, but then we have this wish list/brain fart list of models which are asking for us to fund the production again not an issue but this line requires trust and confidence that has been hit in my mind. I know full well my lack of an order will be a prick in a rock in terms of the overall project and I'm glad because I want to see a high spec 92. Regards
  10. Great Western Route electrification work continues at Newport platform two 27/09/16.
  11. Various 66 pictures from 23 and 24 September around South East Wales.
  12. I noticed last night that there are arm chairs (office desk type) positioned at the saloon doors, but the door locked out of use. The train is being driven by GBRF crew, I'd assume the other person is maybe a hitachi test person ?
  13. Another IEP test run last night, I'm not sure what they're testing though - any ideas ?
  14. Can we expect whe the tunnel reopens OHL extending out at each end?

I think you have hit the nail on the head there, O gauge is fast becoming the new OO as in your average working joe can afford to age a decent collection. With OO models fast increasing in price, in some/most cases now a sound fitted loco will cost more than a Dapol loco it's a no brainer! The old saying that O or 7mm is the "senior scale" is dead, and a few members of the OGG don't like it that us joes are creeping in with our TMD/BLT etc layouts. There will always be a market all be it all small for the premium models in the £1000-5000 price range for those "senior scale" mindset people, but the flip side is that the lower end, budget if you like end is expanding at a rate of knots and long may it continue !

You shouldn't have to "get the paintbrush out" on a £200 model you've been waiting the best part of five years for ! I'm glad I cancelled my order now, they just don't look right to me.
  17. Class 800 sets 800002 and 800004 carried out three nights of testing this week between North Pole and Bristol Temple Meads. Virgin coloured 002 standards on Platform 9 at Temple Meads, on Friday 02nd September 2016.
  18. 92040 only worked for a handful of years, then spend the next 20 either at Loughborugh or Crewe IEMD.
  19. I don't want to be accused of wish listing again, although I will claim some credit for igniting this project with Dave however is there any chance of a European Passnger Services loco? I'm going to express for the RfD and SNCF later. Regards

Well I've lost patience now with this particular model seeing as i ordered pretty much as soon as it was annoncued I'm fed up with the continued slipping. This year alone it's slipped at least three times, June into July into August into Spetember and now Hattons saying November or December it'll be 2017 next ! I really really want the O gauge RTR scene to succeed, but Dapol need to realise consumers won't put up with continued slips to delivery dates, if you ordered a new car would you wait years for it ?
  21. Okay I'll be hoenst I'm disappointed there isn't a EPS or standard RfD unbranded version but you can't please everyone, all the time. I'll be in for a single SNCF version I think. Personally I'm glad there isn't a Stobart model
