  1. Colour versions at Kingsland Road (Bath End) and also Lawrence Hill/Barrow Rd Ground Frame Headshunt - Bristol, although the latter is OOU and the switch onto the mainline plain lined in part. Great Western
  2. More problems, blinking heck! First its electrical problems but they'll be here by August/September...OK fair enough cant helped it is their 1st O gauge model.. now its packaging issues! As long as they still honour the 1st batch price I suppose we'll have to wait. Xmas present then.....hopefully! Great Western
  3. The Dapol news is just saying what we already know their delayed but the BR versions will arrive sooner. Any news if they are on the high sea yet? Great Western
  4. Thanks Ben, I've ordered a 390 and expressed an interest in a few triple packs of the multi coloured thanks that run from Cardiff to up North somewhere. Did you guys give factory weathering anymore though? Thanks Great Western
  5. I could look at the picture all day! Magic Great Western
  6. Is this the locomotive based at Pontypool and Bleavan Railway ? Cheers Great Western
  7. I think the assets striping of equipment to Euro Cargo Rail in France, Poland and Bulgria tells you something. EWS later DBS where always going to be handstrung by the huge overheads they inherited from the Shadow Freight Companies. Great Western
  8. As far as I'm aware, the first block is to undertake work inside Box tunnel and the second half is to remodel Bathampton junction and lower the track under the Dundas to allow Turbo stock to pass through and to increase the loading gauge for intermodel wagons. Great Western
  9. Ive been thinking, I may well adapt my test track into a proper test track which would allow a real life circle of track with test centre on the one side. I'm thinking something like Winderlath in Germany that Siemans use for desiro testing etc. You could have steam in there for running in on a private arrangement, tube stock as per Old Dalby, Network Rail stuff to. Hmmmmmmm.... Great Western
  10. I'm thinking a actual model test track like Old Dalby! AC/DC/LUL 4th Rail, weird and wonderful traction ideal ! Great Western
  11. I've noticed the Greenenergy rakes run at around 17 vehicles, I reckon 15 would look okay. Did you finalise the weathering option or are you going down the as delivered condition, again as the aforementioned vehicles seem to be pretty tidy even now, with only the usual bogie dirt as you would expect. Thanks Great Western
  12. I'm interested in the whole set pack, is there a cut off for orders as I cant afford it just yet. Great Western
  13. I don't usually get involved in these types of threads that have moved so far the actual model into a argument but, I for one am over the moon DJM and Kernow have taken a gamble and produced this excellent and useful little engine for us the modelling world. I don't rivet count, as long as the model looks like the real thing and doesn't have a really stupid error like the 1st Bachmann Class 37 (with huge lip over the cab door) then its a goer for me. I've order one I think, if not two and I cant wait to get them out of the boxes and PLAY with them. After all we're all big kids and the models are big kids toys. Well done Kernow and Dave..........oh and well I'm here, how's about a O gauge version ???? Great Western
  14. I've registered now the newsletter, is there anyway I can be sent the latest one please? Cheers Great Western
  15. Any news when the invites to place orders will be released guys ? Also the cost per unit, and the cost per triple pack, I assume/hope the triple pack will be a little cheaper than separate units. Great Western
  16. I'm so impressed I'd like to order more than the two I've got on order ! Is there a 1466 then? If the king is as good then wow! What would make it one better is a O gauge version ! Come on Dave pleeeeaaassseeeeee !!!!! Great Western
  17. City of Bangor for me I assume if this one isn't one for the selected numbers, do I get a pick of the selected ones ? Likes others have said I'm just happy to have a 390 at the amazing price we're paying ! Great Western
  18. Have the promotional colour schemes been officially binned now producing due to licensing fees etc? Great Western
  19. I saw the multi colour tank service last night on Cardiff Pengram sidings, it appeared that there wasn't any order to the tank anymore and I only counted about 6 green ones, mostly blue. Great Western
  20. Network Rail have a big trackside clearance program in operation. Great Western
  21. The loading is down automatically, well more or less.....set the slow speed controller and off you go. Great Western
  22. I speechless ! In less than 7 days !!!! You've annouced to the world a concept and reached the minimum order level! Okay whether the expressions will turn into actual orders is another matter, but I suspect a large number will. I really think this concept as in crowd funding could be the future of non mainstream models. With the greatest of respect to you guys, if two blokes with no? or very little knowledge of their field can launch to projects in less than 6 months to the point that they've commited to one and about to do so for a second, why aren't the big boys using this method ? Also when ar revolution getting a thread in the main products section of the forum ? That new company from ixon have got one?? Great Western
  23. Pretty much the maximum length is 775m, however the real length is governed by the length of the longest loop on the route. Great Western
