  1. Has I understand it and correct me if I’m wrong, the AI systems gets better doing the job…. A bit like a parrot. Uhm so the big question is, can it be taught to swear?
  2. A week, AAAAah! ‘It’s ok it’s ok I can cope, it’s only 7 days, or 168 hours or 10080 minutes, or 604800 seconds’… AAAah why oh why….
  3. Maybe some one should re-name this topic the ‘Accurascale Q & A Class 37 Hotline repair forum’ some Accurascale porn to help pass the time.
  4. Reminiscent of some public conveniences in the 90s.
  5. Just wondering what’s your view point on the class 31, as a child I always counted them as a big version of the 24 it’s the cab front with the smaller centre window I suppose. Personally the 31 has to be a favourite with its brutish looks. I was always pleased to see the 31, a 24 would do at a push. Have to admit I’m more than happy with the correct state on the model front too, having 3 31s on order, one from Accurascale, tempted with a second blue one depending on expected delivery date.
  6. It’s the age old thing no two modellers want the same thing. I only occasionally sew the real thing as a kid as the bus went over Swain street bridge. Though I’m sure I could have gone spotting myself when older, I didn’t fancy walking around Highfileds the red light central and drug centre of Leicester back then. So now I model for the recreation of childhood memories of playing trains rather then seeing the real things. so lights are a bonus (Hornby class 25 favourite model as a kid) not too bright, but visible is good, I’m never sure if Heljan model lights are on!
  7. They didn’t has you know but, I would have thought it would have been logical to release new coaches with dcc fitted as standard to bring the whole rage of coaches up to the same standards, with the older coaches they already produced being upgraded when the tooling becomes worn.
  8. They do look very nice, has the DCC fitted range been dropped
  9. I Never said they did, what I said was simple facts. The website said Q1/Q2/Q3, they have since removed Q1. Leaving a six month time frame. Now for whatever reason they originally started 3 quarters it doesn’t matter and would still be on time even if it turns up in September. So there’s no reason to say anything unless the delivery doesn’t meet their deadline.
  10. Well all they’ve done is take out the Q1 from the website from what I can see. Has it says Q2,Q3 now,it could be anytime between today and end of September. Which is 6 months. Someone from Accurascale did say watch out for an update about the 31s at the end of this week. can’t remember if it was on one of the topics on this site or FB. But nothing has been mentioned from what I can find. Could get interesting by the end of the month if the 31s are not on a big boat by then or beginning of may. Has the Bachmann ones will be in the race to see who’s arrive first.
  11. My moneys on Hornby’s with the 8f, the princess Coronation and Royal both done with the black 5 on the way. 8f has to be next unless they go for the Stanier rebuilds first. Which are still good models but, could be improved on. Possibly to decrease the production costs which might increase sales. Both models could do with a bit more weight if space permits.
  12. Being a harden LMS modeller. I’d be interested in how big a discount you would apply to get rid of them. 2 for the price of one would compensate for time taken to do a full repaint.
  13. Got to leave something for the second run
  14. Well has industrial locomotives are popular at the moment how about one of theses, when I say one obviously that’s 4 please.
  15. I’ll give that a go and see how I get on. Thank you for the suggestion
  16. Identical only thing I’ve done to the model was to remove the fan to allow space for the speaker. The lights work if I put the 8 pin blanking plug in even if the model is still opened up like in the image.
  17. Just reopened my model again just incase I was going daft, No contacts. Has two little plugs. No plungers.
  18. I have a R3674 class 31 D5579 in golden Ochre runs fine sound great however the lights in one direction are not working. In reverse it has the red tail lights and white side lights working fine but when travelling forward (end with the fan) neither front or rear lights work. I have put a 8 pin blanking plate in and all lights work as they should. Is it possible there’s a CV that needs adjusting (and which one please) or is it more likely to be a fault? On the decoder now? Definitely out of warranty if so. Any help much appreciate.
  19. Well it’s seems to have been eons since I payed for her, and to be honest I was thinking it was part of the second batch. But today I had a parcel delivered from Accurascale. 37 609 has arrived. Now sitting in front of me with her stable mate 37 607. Yeah I’m impressed all over again the livery is out-siding. Some tiny little differences between the two sure I’ll find a few more in time. She just needs a sound decoder now a light weathering and she can be put to work with her sister on the nuclear wagons. very happy waiting not so patiently for 258 to arrive now. Could we have some more rail freight in the 3rd batch please.
  20. The LNER P1 has enough wheels but is it shiny enough. The Jubilee is a good candidate but would Bachmann also realise this and be working on a new model, same as the 8f in Hornby’s case. The humble Jinty could be upgraded Hornby’s model must be close to 50 years old and Bachmann’s is knocking on now and is lacking the in some detail. Has im concentrating on 1980/90s for now at least. A class 86 would be good,
  21. Well I was wondering would it be in bad taste to ask for class 31 601 In pink? I’ve always liked the livery I don’t know why, I was put on a course of antibiotics, but they didn’t work, I still like the pink. I had thought about which manufacturer I’d like to see do this livery, I think I would be happier with the Bachmanns deluxe edition personally.
