  1. The only Lima models i have now are 1 class 33 and 3 class 73's. All have been fitted with CD motors 4 years ago . No problems as yet with them . Now they can run nice and slow. I think it's time for the class 33 to be replaced with one more Heljan class 33.
  2. My layout is OO end to end. As i don't have the room for a roundy roundy. Plus this way i can remove each board as they are 4ft long. So if they need working on i can just turn them on there side, This makes it more easy then crawling under the layout.
  3. This is what the gauge look's like. You just use them to get the correct gap across each axle . https://www.dccconcepts.com/product/back-to-back-ooho-standard-14-5mm/
  4. What i have done to get a fence like what you want. I got the Ratio 421 fence then removed the top and bottom spikes.
  5. Doleham Halt i remember it well . On the Hastings too Ashford line. Only single track these day's .

  8. Brown Brothers was taken over by Part co . Now they have gone aswell
  9. The one and only time i've had a can made up from Halfords. Was 2 years ago cost £12.00 then. Now i only use there primers off the shelf.
  10. I use these as they do Commercial colours as well. They will mix the colour you want. If you have a branch near to you give them a call. £13.00 a large can mixed while you wait takes about 15 mins . They will show you the paint before it's put in the can. so you can see if its the shade you want. https://groveshop.co.uk/stores
  11. Phone this guy up . he will tell you what you need . Plus a lot cheaper then gaugemaster. https://www.railwayscenics.com/electrical-and-electronics-c-20.html
  12. Yes but he also said he was go'ing to use a class 91 bogie.
  13. You can put a spud motor in the coach bogie. But these are Not cheap Link http://motorbogies.com/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=6
  14. The best thing is hard wire the contacts. You won't get a problem when you need to remover the body in the future.
