  1. No he's not. They are honorary Beattie Well Tanks and honorary 02's. Used by the Southern at Wadebridge before the xxxxx xxxxxxx came and ruined it.
  2. Quick gauging trial before taking the dogs out. It fits... First 009 in over 20 years. The bug has bitten again.
  3. George Morton https://gmtransportbooks.co.uk/ does model railway shows and swapmeets. Highly reccomended. As are Barters in Alnwick. Quite pricey but an excellent day out and experience in itself. There is also the Lions charity bookshop just inside the Alnwick town gate.

  5. Similar product to Chinchilla dust. Those poor little rodents.
  6. Mutton will be at Pontefract too, in 2026. Further exhibitions in the deep South and West (Notts, Derby, Lancs) would be welcome.

  10. How about a Lakeland, and 2 Borders? Merry Christmas from Penny, Syd and Fred.
  11. This is my go to filler now. Comes as thin, medium and thick. You probably need the thin.
  12. A few years back the Memsahib asked for my help with a Christmas wreath she was making. I let her use my hot glue gun while I assisted. I still had the burn marks in the New Year...
  13. From what I can remember Teesside didn't go colour until 1977. Places like Billingham took a little longer.
  14. Sadly no, she is retired now and paints. I am sure there was a dozen cans of Forth Bridge Red in their garage last time we were there.
  15. I shall get my Scottish Mother in Law, to come and have a word with you. She started her working life kick starting aircraft carriers at Rosyth...
  16. Your mind works the same as mine. When in Norway last year my first thought was "Hasn't Slartibart fast done a good job. He definitely deserved that award"!
