George Morton https://gmtransportbooks.co.uk/ does model railway shows and swapmeets. Highly reccomended. As are Barters in Alnwick. Quite pricey but an excellent day out and experience in itself. There is also the Lions charity bookshop just inside the Alnwick town gate.

I had an eureka moment Christmas morning, to use a pack of A1 10mm foamboard which I had in the house. Had the board built within days, and getting the rest of the track tomorrow. Hope to have it down and wired Sunday/Monday. 009 2'10" x 2'0" double sided.

From what I can remember Teesside didn't go colour until 1977. Places like Billingham took a little longer. -
