  1. Always time for tea, you can thank trade unions for that... talking of which, it's 15 minutes washing hands time before going home C. O. M'rade
  2. Today for luncheon I had a very nice vegan 'Steakless Bake' I was feeling rather hungry so also purchased a 'Jumbo Sos Roll' Eyes bigger than my belly (I wish), I shall have the beast for my tea or even on the bus on the way up the the hill of foxes (that way, the bus mice can have a munch on any crumbs I drop - which will be few). Hopefully tonight I may have a play with some rail and possibly end up with some switch blades or I may just have a nap on account of feeling a 'little bit way / a little woe' from my new leg tablets. They're rather good and my leg, he don't hurt no more. Happy days
  3. They all know English, they just pretend they don't. Bl@@dy French! Still haven't forgotten 1066 and all that

Hope it works for you. The best relief I had for sciatica, 40 years ago in outpatient physio, was 8 weeks of traction treatment, strapped to a metal bed and gently pulled, while the leather straps creaked ooh nurse!! It really worked.

rembrow, sorry to hear that, I'm on about my 7th outpatient physio with the lovely Lucy ;)

The orthopaedic team are making the decision about whether to refer me for an MRI at the moment, as I should have improved by now :(

Things aren't too bad as I only wqork 6 hours a day for three days, so I'm 'walking wounded'

      Cheers

  6. I'll never know as I now refuse to go to Lime Rugsus and account of that unfortunate catering incident. F.R. Eyes
  7. I had to find an alternative way of looking busy at work today that didn't involve RMWeb... a bit uncomfortable at first but I got there in the end. Got out of 'work' early anyway, for a visit to the 'healthy heart clinic' at the Doc's. Pleased to say it's still working and my blood pressure is 'the best it's been all year" according to nursey Ali. S. Pinach
  8. Trumpet I have a BAT Certificate in the trumpet. Oh and Mafs .
  9. I had some chips in Lime Rugsus once, they were bloody awful and I was most disappointed I did climb Golden Cap once too but that was just exhausting
  10. My GP & the nurses at the practice know not to tell me "You may feel a little prick now"... but there's always new members who join the team. Nothing like making a lady blush .
  11. Impressive, if not interesting, lifting technique...
  12. I see you've had your sense of humour Beattied out of you! No, I'm not sorry...just pittyful
  13. Absolutely splendid spot of coachmanship chaps. Today I have mostly been listening to lecturers telling me they make mistakes filling out simple order forms because they are over worked and under paid. Oh and pruning my Dracaena Marginata which is now getting on for 9'... sorry was... now about 7' foot tall. The joys of air conditioning and the micro climate that is my room at the place they call work.
  14. I do! OMG! I've just realised I chopped the wrong type of chairs (3 bolt standard) to make 'special' chairs... I know I should have used slide chairs. That's tonight's sleep interrupted!
  15. N Gauge insulfishers should fit code 75 bullhead or Exactoscale plastic.
