    I have been interested in the colourful US railroads of the 1950s/60s for many years and many arguments have gone on in magazines and on forums regarding exact paint colours. I was therefore amused to read that sometimes when a loco needed painting and the loco shop had run out of paint someone was sent into town to find the nearest colour available! That stirred everyone up....... Gerry

    I have collected my Parcels Express GUV from the post office today and I am delighted with this model which is beautiful. I was the first to order apparently and I will certainly be the first to order any N scale Thumpers and 4TCs should they ever be announced! How about a serious investigation as to whether there is a profitable market for them, possibly by introducing a pre- order scenario? Thanks anyway Kernow.... Gerry

    Congratulations Ben I think this loco is a really excellent choice. Would it be possible to design this so that there aren't large holes to accommodate the couplers or at least an optional fill-in for anyone planning to use the Kadee type? - I hope that makes sense........ Regards Gerry
