  1. Because I rarely went there before we moved offices. Since we moved from rental to buying we had to move, unfortunately it is a slow route from Worcester.
  2. And Murray Walker no longer does the F1, and neither does BBC
  3. OK take a punt on ONE of these, you will either love them or think meh! It is well known that the best animation studios are Aardman and Studio Ghibli. I expect you have seen all the Wallace & Gromit films, so try some Japanese animation. Spirited Away is fantastic, also Kikis Delivery Service is lovely. They are NOT childrens films. Try a Studio Ghibli.
  4. I work in Redditch now, so you have a show?
  5. We need more samples of what you do like. As I can name some odd foreign action and scifi films, and they can be funny. Taxi is good, 2 OK, 3 rubbish, comedy action District 9, sci fi but funny How about animated films?

    Shawplan

I cleaned him out of 2D glazing at Warley and already have another order to go in. Sometimes shows are the only way.
  7. I got near, but the other side, so missed it. So where do you get Chinese stock from?
  8. Were good in one way Cheap Jouefs on Ebay for 3a stock.
  9. I liked 2 and 4, 3 was OK but played as a Yank brat, 2 was a choice of characters. Farcry 2 had some interestig Do-Bos and carriages with incompatible couplings. https://farcry.fandom.com/wiki/North_Railyard https://gamebanana.com/maps/182611 I really wanted to model these!
  10. CoD Well I have had "discussions" with fans of the series, they claim to be the elite of FPS players. I have heard them cry with sadness, was a long time ago in PS3 era. My favourite PS3 MP game was Killzone 3, I was actually good at it, good like top 0.5% good. It is a slow game, cannot win by charging around, need to use tactics. Many players were older gamers as slow movement = time to plan. (High gravity world) One weekend PSN offered the MP only as a freebie. MP only version played with the full version, and of course we knew it all because we had beaten the campaign on hardest difficulty, then played MP for about a year. All that bravado disappears when the CoD masters get totally wiped, I remember going 36:0 and 31:1 or 2. And I was using motion controls! Lots of us did, aiming was so accurate and fast, point and shoot. The 31:1 or 2 was only a death because I ran out of ammo (playing Marksman with VC32 & STA52). I still had a 30 streak. The 36 was because fully upleveled Tactician in an LS209 Exoskeleton against unleveled. FPS skills do not carry across games with different controls and movements. But I enjoyed upsetting the CoD "masterrace"
  11. Pity they didn't let Gove in, he appears to be their expert in the subject.
  12. Blue 654 for me and I THINK 651 or 652 in Yellow I am planning on making a PAD based on Newland but information is scarce. Will be hybred portable and one side of my garage layout. So far I have one shunter and one crane. I know that sometimes two PWMs were at the PADs. Got lots of Cambrian departmental wagons. Got the book. As to traction at the WR PADs, were they normally 37 hauled in the 70s and 80s?, Which 08s at Newland? I was also very pleased that the Edge loco was PWM650, which was my favourite PWM.
  13. In games I don't mind shooting enemies if they are shooting at you. But I had trouble in Farcry2 where you had to kill one person. It just felt wrong.
  14. Regarding the non UK layouts, did not see the Chinese one, walked slowly past a few European ones, not much running, not my area of interest but worth a quick look at. They were to be honest a bit tucked away. I think the main reason for not area if interest is not being able to connect to it. I would have looked at the CHinese one if I had seen it as it is totally different.
  15. I have watched 14 coach sleepers behind a single 50 at the other end, the noise, will never forget it.
  16. Could have done with queues likely warning. May have slowed down some of the people hurtling past me around 80
  17. Thanks for the quartering lesson. I think I MAY have to replace a couple of wheels but to get it to run would be worthwhile.
  18. It is not reversing, it is same both sides. Hence weird
  19. I made sure plenty of room as I used to ride bikes in my teens and 20s
  20. Fell off a step ladder about 8 years ago, damaged bottom vertibra. Last year broke ankle and even though it is normally OK gives my gyp if I use it a lot.
  21. It was so weird I went to look on the Paul HMRS site and yes it is correct. Nice to see that it was correct as so often people do not care.
  22. I like Westerns but only when a certain actor is in it. Favourite is The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
  23. I did see a little unpleasantness behind me in the queues for the car park. A car was trying to stop bikes filtering. WTF! I was very carefull, managed to park near a bus stop so kept walking to a minimum. Got a damaged back and a weak ankle.
