really mad at Hatton's they listed a Hornby R2202-LN-03 2800 class 2-8-0 2861 & tender in BR black with early emblem DCC ready *pin socket arrived in post today great unwrapped tonight look ringfield motor in tender old type Hornby couplings You have guessed NO BLOODY DCC SOCKET went on their live chat and they a said sorry been listed wrong but you can hardwire the decoder , sod off it's on it's way back

I have just got 2 Hornby Thompson BR crimson and cream coaches anyone know what are the pieces in the detailing pack that come's with each coach they are oblong bits of black plastic any ideas??

Hi John have ordered 50 magnets after see a guy on youtube in usa installing them and looking at your installation the only difference is he had thre one side and three the other side just showing at rail bottom level one per sleeper gap with a little bit of ballast over the top and as he has a large area covered by the magnets allows a better length of operation then trying to line up on 1 magnet you just need to be in range of the three with a little signpost showing where they are what do you think as I won't get mine until tomorrow. Hoorah it did not take 3 months to paint my track it's all done barrow crossing down just awaiting rare earth magnets for uncoupling clean said track and then the trains will roll

Things are progressing on Ashbrook started ballast ing and done some PWork took out the double slip not working as good as expected now just changed a bit of the track work where it was and things are running much smoother also fitting express models telegraph poles they are really good more later

What a great day yesterday was all points working on new layout even the double slip all dcc track wiring Don and 4 semiphore signals wire up and working also the start of the dairy went well I could do with more days like that
