In the NE it's the claggy mat.

Highly recommended but be careful in removing the supports of which there are many. It's all too easy to break a leg. The resin is quite brittle.

I hope a photo through the doors will be appearing on Realistic Modelling sometime soon?

I wonder if @Compound2632 could help out? Is there a caption to say who the folks are? I should really know one or two of them.

It's very pricey for a poorly built and painted job. I want one done by Larry Goddard at that price.

I went to the Kendal show and had a good time on Sunday. I thought the N gauge layout Eli Wood was the best in show. Like you, I bought nothing (but food and drink).

Thanks, Geraint and all others for their comments. There's always something to do on the rolling stock side of things. Several wagons to finish. Four locos requiring attention and the coaching stock needs sorting out as I have far too many for my needs. I've even put my two Larry Goddard coaches up for offers on "Classifieds" as the 4-4-0s struggle with them - no takers yet so may go on the Bay.

Quite a while since I posted on my thread. I've got a new lap top, so have been arranging files etc. I've also got some Velcro in order to hopefully attached the backscene to the backboard better. It will mean taking the buildings off the layout so they don't get damaged. So some photos before I do. One set of signals has had the spectacles painted white. On the health front, as my condition has been stable since October with a scan showing no changes at Christmas my oncologist said further chemo was not needed. I am to be scanned every 3 months to monitor the situation and already have my appointments for a CT and a chat with the oncologist already arranged for March and the beginning of April.

Some of Cambrian's moulds are worn out. Some of their current kits are better than others.

Would look better as a Mk1 4 or 6 wheeler! And somebody has gone to the trouble of fitting close coupling mechs.

Perhaps a brush down with some black and brown weathering powders (Humbrol?) should tone the colours down a bit and add some shadow to the folds and creases. Which reminds me I have a fair few ModelU figures which need painting.

From here it looks as though you've made a fine job of the figures.

I found the best way is with a sharp scalpel while rolling the tube with the blade.
