  6. G'Day Folks Well, the J1, was going to be next, but it's decided to fight me all the way, so I shunted it onto a dead end siding and got on with the C2, bit easier to sort out, I had it running not long after I built it, but it wasn't very good runner, but it is now, all the little bits have been finished off, and I had it running the other day, she moved 10 coaches, I wouldn't say with ease, but it did move them around the layout, it was far happier with 5 coaches and two CCT's, which all it really needs to do, as it's due to be withdrawn in the next few weeks, of course on Edgware, it'll never come. Back to that J1......it won't win. lol. manna

  10. G'Day Folks On the other hand, I climbed aboard a Class 33, at Hornsey Depot, in 1971, with my Driver, we were amazed, after our class 31's this loco was spotless, the roof panels, were so clean, the engine room was bathed in light, the floor was dry and clean. I realise, that his loco 'probably' just had a repaint etc, but SR loco's of this period were pretty clean, compared with our ER loco's. manna
