  3. A day in the life....This am, 6x mk2d all set for ebay. Then decided the wheels and couplings should be swapped. Tonight, change of heart..wheels back in, new couplings and lights now fitted

      50033 is going fine, Little smoky still. 50026 is a non-runner. 50017 is only doing 1 trip a day. 50008 is air only so doing freights. D400 is looking good

      I've never seen a train accelerate as fast as 87002 did from Didcot West End through the station.

      It must have been doing at least 50mph by the end of the platform!

  19. Withdrawn: Sodor Railways No2 Edward and No4 Henry 4-6-0 have been withdrawn from TTTE. No1 Thomas is being exported from Sodor for overseas use. Replaced by new locomotives Nia and Rebecca.       Given the success of the various Tornado models I'd expect an RTR version to be out soon. A good looking engine. I still regret passing on a kit built one on ebay a few years ago.

      I voted against it, 600 miles round trip leaving at 5am.. looks like the day delivered but I think 2008 was better, so on balance I gave it a miss. I did do SVR last week with 43106, plus 45110/48773 on display, with cleaners !

  25. went on a safari yesterday, never did I think the parched lands of Bewdley really would look like the African Savannah’s... even the mud springs were drying up.
