Saw it at Shenfield this morning on my way to work looking wonderful. When I got back home I decided to take my 1-year old son to the bridge over the railway outside Norwich station to see his first steam locomotive, and it hadn't been repaired in time sadly. Still, got treated to the sound and sight of 47804 accelerating away, so not all bad.

What they all missed was the real concern. The flood sensors didn't pick it up apparently.

TV and newspapers seem to feel the need to sensationalise everything and most of those who write the reports know little of real life. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story!

The initial report was on the front page of The Sun - everyone else picked this non-story up from there. Presumably, they are allowed to report it, but the Beeb aren't.
