The run was postponed yesterday due to strong wind conditions. bet it looked good today; will be on the news (local?) this evening I suspect.

The Lancaster took a flight over Lincoln last week as I was about to go into Tesco. It flew overhead and then did several circuits of the City and I was amazed that only a couple of other people besides me stood to watch it, the rest carried on shopping as normal. Surely that sound alone gets your attention.

I've seen people at Retford Station not even look up from their phones when a steam loco has thundered through with whistle howling.......no souls obviously.
