The one thing this whole Pandemic has done, is shown just how many utter idiots there are out there, far more than anyone ever realised.  That is the next pandemic that will need sorting, the pandemic of stupidity.

Start with that buffoon in No. 10 Downing Street and work upwards I suggest...

It only goes to show that any idea of 'relying on the common sense of the people' is a total waste of time - such sense is in very short supply it appears.  Interesting press reports - if they''re true - of a chap of 34 who has just died of Covid saying he wished he'd had the vaccine but he thought it was a waste of time for younger people .   Trouble is folk don't want to listen and think it only affects 'old people' - which definitely wasn't the case when my daughter was working on a high dependency Covid ward earlier this year (and i understand there's currently a 16 year old in a poorly state with covid in hospital in Oxford).

Just to prove the point, the day the papers printed the 'relying on common sense' story, it was somewhere on the inside pages of many as nearer the front was a photograph of a grown member of said population with his trousers down in the street in central London with a fully lit marine distress flare shoved up his backside...
