  In all honesty, it also doesn't sound likely to be good in my part of the world.

Early this afternoon, I saw some stuff about all tomorrow's trains round here being "pulled" - so I decided I'd better get some basic supplies from the town centre, slightly pronto.

By the time I got on the bus home, it was apparent that there also won't be any buses.

I reckon this is the right call, in view of the red weather warning.

Batten down the hatches, young Masters Phil and Huw, it's gonna be a bumpy ride. 

It's just wintry weather hyped up by the media.  Nothing new here except for media fuelled overreactions as usual.
