Congrats on your retirement CK. Hopefully this visit has resorted in blowing the retirement lump sum on a BEMO spending spree? Great photos and thanks for sharing. Hope your retirement brings a more fruitful modelling period and the draw of the Forest is strong? Best wishes, Mark
He supports Torquay United not Forest. However, Forest would be glad of a draw these days.

Lovely place, lovely pics, lovely days without Voyager toilets, lovely layout building.
Congratulations old bean.
Ballast.

Getting those cylinders in exact 'contact'... was tricky. I never got it 100% but when the thing is covered in crud you won't notice. The front end of Caprottis was usually a real mess.

So many have had that virus.......me too and 'sort of' twice; 9 weeks and just coming out of it!
Starting to look the part. This was probably one of my favourite parts when marrying up the castings and etchings in this part.

This is an excellent model to build. I'm not that good and so I had a little trouble with the footplate (above the driving wheels section) folding (you will see what I mean).
Just be a tad careful with the Smokebox to boiler join to get the 'correct' angle (see prototype pics side on views) and if you do a double chimney version also check the seating of the chimney; mine seemed to want to 'sit up' at one end
If you don't build 44756 you could then have mine to go with yours (P.O.A.) )

To see progress on this coach visit A Nod to Brent. Thanks.

Bob, I can't really help here as I only have the books you have. However, you might try contacting Too Many Spams (Chris Tooth) as he researched a lot for Treneglos.
Have you posted on the Southern railway group?
Graham Muzz is another knowledgeable chappy.

No just running through Brent !
Perhaps, sometime in the future, after 'diversions due to flooding' east of Exeter St David's. Who can say.....?
Somehow I think there could be a familiar King Class 4.6.0. on that particular stock move to Laira.

I am also pleased that they appear to be reading the local village newsletter that reports that a new pasty shop is about to open opposite the station.
