Great excuse for having an Arthur; I never knew this fact.

If you have time come and say hello at the Comet Models creche.
Phil (not Geoff).

And finally there's something streamlined yet to be started
Do you really mean 'streamlined' or could it be "air-smoothed"?
I look forward to seeing all your Spams once completed; go for it lad.

Good inspiration here Pete. Like the way you use 'all sorts' to get things done.
Thanks, P @ 36E

Can I borrow that mask you are wearing for next Oct 31st? It will scare the local scrounging kids witless; bah!

You will enjoy doing the two Comets; lovely kits and uncomplicated to build (but you probably know that already and have finished them).

Good grief. The 8F a 'first attempt'.
I have a DJH 8F in the 'crate of things to do soon' and that to be EM. If I ever get it out of the box and can make it look a fraction as good as this I will also be filling a (large) glass of celebratory liquid.
Stunning for such a workhorse loco. (but then I always loved big black loco's and still do).

:rolleyes:Ooooohhhhhh niiiiccccceee! Got me twitching again.
I like the Maunsells; can you elaborate on the parts you used please?

Exceptional. This is such a painstaking representation of something that often just gets scant attention as it is not the main star of the layout.
I am so looking forward to making the journey to see this layout once it is complete and exhibited.

Lovely. I was wondering if you painted the levers before fitting to the frame?
Ref. the signalman; he really must be leaning out of the window admiring the shed in the distance!
Phil.

Thanks B Road. I'm going to try and get to see the 'shed' this year if it's out again anywhere. ATB for 2011.

That looks SO good. However, I'm just amazed at the 'difference' in gauge; just look at that extra width on the Templot P4 print.
Alos, I had no idea this loco was even available yet - DOH!
Makes the shed come to life, even in this stage of construction. I can smell the sulphurous wiff even now!

Yes, this Chivers Van is a good un. I've only done one so far in EM. Like your centre axle trick though; excellent idea.
Having only built one other Chivers product, that is three D127 Pigeon Vans (all in EM), I have to say that they are very good value and look great when finished. have you done others? P.M. me if you have please.
Love the Centenary by the way; it looks like a Comet kit?

Every time I see this 'work in progress' it makes me & .
SUPERB. I just CAN'T wait to see it 'working'; in fact I'll travel a very long way to do just that.

Robin, shot 6 is fabulous. It captures the whole 'essence' of the main line running past and the restricted area that was BRd. I'm just itching to see the shed completed. Truly inspirational work mate.
