  1. I confirm that there is a basic speaker fitted to the model and a 21-Pin socket. We are not aware of a suitable verified or complete sound recording hence no sound fitted versions being available. As suggested elsewhere the nearest possible starting point would be a Class 71 file.
  2. Sorry for the apparent delay in responding, as noted by some the buffer beam on the E82005 BR Blue version should be BR Rail Blue (Railmatch 207), we are somewhat frustrated that this managed to get through the review processes. These models are currently being shipped. We are very sorry that this oversight has occurred, and we hope that this won’t detract from your enjoyment of this model of a very interesting prototype.
  3. And the 'Spare' to make a pair is available here
  4. Don't worry Canute Road Quay want mind if you do come and operate occasionally!
  5. To allow for clearances for those using 2nd radius curves etc. the model comes with two sets of valve gear scrolls, the wider set (as fitted in the picture a few posts above) have an overall width of 38mm (19mm from track centreline) with a narrower set provided that are 36mm. The passenger door footsteps are modelled in their stowed inwards position.
  6. We are not aware of any verified sound recordings. Whilst CC2 had the MU cables from introduction, in anticipation of a possible larger fleet, CC1 was never so equipped so they didn't actually run in multiple.
  7. I can't tell you it doesn't have lighting as it does, the spec of the model is available for all to see. My original comment stands, as there is no catch.
  8. I have successfully tested dropping in Ultrascale P4 wheels same ones as produced for the KMRC Bulleid Diesel.
  9. As stated above it was two time grey the area between the body side white lines was a darker grey. It never left Ashford in this livery.
  10. It's Lincoln and Sheffield according to the information provided to retailers. https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/86528/E83032-EFE-Rail-Class-144-2-Car-DMU-144013 BR-Regional-Railways
  11. The five liveries being produced are as per the OP. There are a of course a number of other livery and tooling combinations that could be produced in the future... sCC2 in ultramarine blue with silver lettering and lines would certainly make an interesting variation.
  12. It is not the factory itself that is the primary cost factor but many other variables such as for example the size and complexity and therefore costs of a tooling suite.
  13. No, I have a photograph that shows 20002 in the condition as per the model. She gained the BR coach roundall later (and OHLE warning labels). Extract below to preserve copyright
  14. Rule 1 by its very nature does not need bending as it's Rule 1, therefore you can have one!
  15. As far as i can tell as I do not have definitive dates, the protective plates were removed by early 1942, and she gained the malachite green livery mid 1942 .
  16. As often repeated, these are quarterly announcements and not everything can meet everyone's I want now, or be produced and announced at once...
  17. I have the Judith Edge kit to build as well, so don't need another, so read into that what you will...
  18. The model's depending on version come with user fitted open or closed discs, alternative route stencils or roller blinds.
  19. Calm down... the changes between the Wardle loco and the first two does not lend itself to being produced as part of the CC1/2 tooling suite...
  20. Both nicknames were used, the loco crews did tend to use the name 'Hornby's'
  21. The EFE Rail items announced last quarter were also completely new tooling... (and I should know... 😆 )
  22. It is part of the EFE Rail due to to the model being developed by KMRC and not Bachmann themselves.
  23. It is an exclusive for the London Transport museum.
