  2. Indeed and exactly what I shall (and often) do!
  3. Yes the mainland E1s gained SR Bulleid black starting with 2694 from 27th January 1940 onwards.
  4. Great British Railways (GBR) is not to happen anymore It's now the Integrated Rail Body a version of Network Rail in control. The draft rail reform bill is here... https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/draft-rail-reform-bill
  5. Workbench Witterings #24 Taking centre stage, the Westhill Road provender store, more details here https://southern-railway.com/2024/02/18/workbench-witterings-24-taking-centre-stage-the-westhill-road-provender-store/
  6. For the vented supported walls on the Hawkhurst provider store I used Slaters Femish Bond embossed plastciard glued back to back and punched out the half bricks with a punch made using an old square needle file.
  7. Once again it needs repeating that this is the first of at least four announcements to be made by Bachmann this year!
  8. You have asked and been corrected about this before within the Hattons 14xx thread. The 14xx tooling was/is fully owned by Hattons and nothing to do with any demise of DJM. It is up to Hattons what they may or might have already done with it.
  9. This Months picture... https://southern-railway.com/2024/02/01/picture-of-the-month-february-2024/
  10. Glad the klaxon is still working ;) Useful to narrow down the possibilities tho...
  11. Go on, Go on, tell us, which member of the Accurascale team is he?
  12. Yes, I can confirm that the Chimney cap was removed from 93 when running on NR metals (and to get it into the shed at Didcot!) as it was outside the current NR loading gauge.
  13. Whatever Kevin looks like he is probably stamping his foot complaining "That is so unfair" that he has not received the Steam Railmotor model that has not been announced yet...
  14. Keeping things in context, as I said there have only been a very small number of models with any reported issues, which are still being investigated, when compared with the numbers sold.
  15. Rick, Ping me a PM and I will see what I can do to help sort the issue.
  16. Because the very small number of models that have been actually reported as so affected, is being investigated as the potential cause being as what could be described by some as 'minor manufacturing issue'.
  17. Yes the Booster wheelbase is very long compared to most Co-Cos and also as you state the bogies are mounted closer together than most too, so the need to take R2 curves has been a challenge. Thankfully the small number of actual reported "minor manufacturing issues" as a percentage of the number of models produced is very low.
  18. My engagement, not being in an actual 'customer facing role, and in my own time, was at a useful point, to the thread as a whole by way of a reminder to all. Thank you.
  19. Yes we have an atlas thank you, we also advised the orders are being dispatched, where possible, in payment date order, we could do it in alphabetical order in which case Yorkshire still comes after Australia...
  20. Indeed as I sated "some customers will receive theirs before others... and some will receive theirs after those some, but before others..."
  21. Once again I reiterate that we are working our way through literally 1000s to dispatch, (and maintaining our usual turnaround of picking and packing the normal run rate of our usual order volumes) and will generally be done in 'date paid for' order, this means some customers will receive theirs before others... and some will receive theirs after those some, but before others... As also already stated the sound fitted versions are in parallel to all of the above being fitted and tested as expeditiously as we can within the KMRC own workshop so may take a little longer to prepare and dispatch some of these sound fitted versions. But be rest assured all will be dispatched in due course, so please be patient and resist the testation to call, post on forums, fax, electronic mail or send pigeons asking 'where mine is..' Thanks.
